PlantPets Market

A welcoming home for Second Life breeders and creators.

A win for you and the PlantPets community

Every rental rewards PlantPets breeders

Whichever unit you choose, your monthly tenant bonus includes breeder tools worth more than a month’s rent for that unit — giving PlantPets breeders an added benefit with every tenancy.

Find your place at the market

Situated around the PlantPets Main Store and set within a peaceful landscaped courtyard, the PlantPets Market is an ideal place for breeders to sell the PlantPets seeds they produce. Breeders of all other Second Life breedables are warmly welcome too, as are creators looking for a friendly place to sell their creations.

How to rent and set up your space

  1. Choose and rent your unit. An avatar may rent any number of market units. Their land-impact allowances are combined and may be distributed across those units.
  2. Message Monellis Resident. You will be invited to the PlantPets Main Store & Market group so that you can rez your objects.
  3. Add your booth image. Hold CTRL and drag a 512 × 512 texture onto the sign above your booth. Touch the sign first if needed.

Essential market rules

Price seeds fairly

PlantPets seeds must be priced at L$25 or above. Advertising lower prices is not permitted.

Combine your allowances

Rent any number of units and distribute their combined land-impact allowance across them. Allowances belong to the renting avatar and cannot be combined with those of alts.

Keep things peaceful

No loud sounds, unsolicited general-chat messages or automatic inventory dispensers. Touch-to-receive items are permitted.

Rez live breedables

Any unit may contain any number of live breedables, provided all permanent and temporary prims remain within the tenant's combined allowance. Other temporary items are not permitted.

Keep your unit active

Units overdue by three days are automatically evicted. Units left empty for seven days may be refunded and released.

Manage subtenants responsibly

Notify market management whenever you add or remove a subtenant. Their objects count towards your combined allowance, and the primary tenant remains responsible for compliance.

The full rules displayed in-world remain authoritative.
